Selected issues in the framework of the rural development programme 2007-2013 based on examples of the West Pomeranian voivodeship

Abstract

This article presents three selected “Functionalities” within two axes: Axis 1 and Axis 3, which are terms to be implemented by the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013. The framework of Axis 1 shows the operation 125, in particular, Scheme II - management of agricultural water resources, while Axis 3 discusses the basic services for the economy and rural population and village renewal and development, also shown is the status of implementation of the various measures implemented in Axis 1 and Axis 3, based on data from 2013. For the implementation of the RDP 2007-2013, the European Union provided in the budget for Poland amount of over  17 billion euros, and national co-financing amounts to about 4 billion euros. The main tasks of the Programme is to support the modernization and improvement of the competitiveness of the agri-food sector and rural development. As part of the RDP 2007-2013 activities 125 will be implemented, in the majority relating to the construction or renovation of basic water management facilities. As part of operation 321 mainly activities of production and distribution of energy from renewable sources will be implemented. Action 313/322/323 refers to the construction and modernization and equipment of buildings serving as recreational, sporting, social, cultural, sports facilities, playgrounds and landscape architecture.
